Introit: W hat is in the heart of man Thine eyes have seen, O Lord; it is all written in Thy book. For God sees what is in every heart, and understands the thoughts of all. What is in the hearts of man....Collects: Almighty and merciful God, Thou didst make Saint Pio glorious by his pastoral zeal, his constant prayer, his ardor of penance, and by renewing the marks of Thy Passion in his flesh: grant, we beseech Thee, that by his example and intercession we may be able to win the souls of our brethren for Christ, and together with them gain eternal glory. 2. Eternal Shepherd, look graciously upon Thy flock, and through blessed Linus, Thy Martyr and Supreme Pontiff, whom Thou didst appoint pastor of the Universal Church, keep it under Thy continual protection. 3. Thecla, Virgin and Martyr Grant, we beseech Thee, O almighty God that we who celebrate the heavenly birthday of blessed Thecla, Thy virgin and martyr, may both rejoice in her annual feast, and profit by the example of her great faith. S. Thecla, Virgin and Martyr Receive, O Lord, the gifts which we bring on the solemnity of blessed Thecla Thy virgin and martyr, through whose intercession we hope for deliverance.
